Marvel's Spider-Man 2 offers players a wide array of side activities, hidden easter eggs, and unique achievements across its expansive recreation of New York City. One of the most enjoyable secret tasks involves taking a break from crime-fighting to hit the diamond. Completing this quick challenge rewards players with the Home Run trophy.
Locating Big Apple Ballers Stadium in Brooklyn
To begin this activity, you need to navigate to the southeastern section of the world map. Head directly to Downtown Brooklyn near the Coney Island area to find the large baseball facility. The stadium stands out clearly against the surrounding buildings and coastline.
You can complete this challenge playing as either Peter Parker or Miles Morales. Either character will trigger special dialogue once the activity is successfully finished.
How to Properly Round the Bases
Once you drop down onto the baseball field, locate home plate situated on the west side of the diamond. Stand directly on top of the home plate tile to start the sequence properly. From home plate, turn right and begin running toward first base along the white baseline.
Continue sprinting counter-clockwise around the field to hit second base, third base, and finally head back toward home plate. Make sure your character touches each base marker on the dirt path as you complete the circuit.
Unlocking the Home Run Trophy
Crossing home plate after touching all three bases will immediately trigger the trophy pop-up on your screen. Your hero will usually offer a lighthearted comment about scoring a run for the team. This activity requires no combat skills, making it one of the easiest unlocks in the entire game.
If the trophy does not unlock right away, simply step back onto home plate and attempt the run a second time. Ensuring you make solid contact with every white square guarantees successful completion.
Tips for Early Game Completion
Players can complete this easter egg as soon as free-roaming becomes available in the open world. You do not need to wait for a specific story mission to visit the ball park. Heading there early is a great way to explore Brooklyn and add another trophy to your collection.
Combining this quick trip with other nearby side activities maximizes your exploration efficiency across the district. It remains a memorable fan-favorite moment for trophy hunters exploring Insomniac's version of New York.
